Our staff managed the design of erection procedures, and the erection of this stadium complex.
A new sports stadium with seating capacity of 80,000 spectators located in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
A total of forty frames of different heights and spans erected on either side of the arena form the main stadium structure.
Each frame has two distinctive entities; the pre-stressed concrete part and the conventional concrete part.
The 69.0 m cantilevered steel space frame supporting the roof with vaulted cladding is stiffened
by a cast-in-place concrete roof structure and abutments.
Pre-casting and pre-stressing of the various concrete elements were done in a large production
hall adjacent to the construction area.
